👋
I’m a multi-disciplined designer, researcher and strategist looking to shape the future by seeing how the small parts fit into the bigger picture!
Having grown up between France and the UK, I developed a passion for understanding people and languages and this led me to initially study Italian at university. Since then I have worked in all sorts: archiving, events, copy editing, services, website and database systems, to name a few before going to the Umeå Institute of Design for my masters in Interaction Design.
This thirst for understanding different ways of making, thinking and doing led me to design. I believe the recipe for success lies in experience insight from people, expertise from different professions, while always reflecting on the ethical and environmental implications of our work.
I’m fascinated by the details in the meeting point between the physical , digital and social and how that can impact different forms of life, as well the systemic forces around it. I love creating things that encourage people to develop, connect and empathise with each other and their world. Whatever the project, I want to keep learning, hopefully with a playful twist!
I’m currently Thinking A lot about..
design ethics, AI & machine learning, life centred design, strategic design, qualitative and quantitative research, policy design, intersectionality, democratising technology
